What is the best series of Shure wireless handheld and lav microphones for use for a church sound system?

Question by : What is the best series of Shure wireless handheld and lav microphones for use for a church sound system?
Will need 4 receivers, 4 handheld microphones and 2 lavalier microphones that can be used in different combinations.

Best answer:

Answer by Daniel K
You will need a receiver for every mic so you will need 6 receivers. My church uses Shure PGX wireless mics – they run about $ 400-450 each system so 6 systems will cost about $ 2400. They work great and do not have any interference problems.

http://www.amazon.com/Shure-PGX24-Handheld-Wireless-System/dp/B0009GUORO/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1314611684&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.com/Shure-PGX14-Lavalier-Wireless-System/dp/B0009E1YRA/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1314611720&sr=1-1

People often ask for the BEST here at Yahoo Answers – if you really want the BEST Shure wireless system, they run around $ 3000 or more each – this is the mic you would see them use at the Grammys:

http://www.amazon.com/Shure-UR24S-Handheld-Wireless-System/dp/B00167WNZ6/ref=sr_1_2?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1314611901&sr=1-2

If your church can afford $ 18,000 for wireless mics, go for it (you did ask for the best).

Question by : can i connect a tv, surround sound, and xbox wireless to the internet with 2 wireless routers?
I have a wireless router connected to a PC and a network printer, 2 wireless laptops. What I want to do is connect a TV, Surroundsound system, XBOX 360, and a Satellite reciever to my network. The Sat rec cannot be connected without a cat6. Can I hook up a second wireless router to communicate with the first and connect the components to the internet like that?

Best answer:

Answer by Dustin
its called a wireless access point, two routers will not work as they will both be tryingto assign IPs to your devices and will not communicate with each other however a wireless access point will do just fine.

Wireless surround sound adapter?

Question by topgearulz2: Wireless surround sound adapter?
I just moved into a new house with a basement. My old house i had a 5 ft crawl space were i could put stuff. Now i am a speaker junky and i love my surround sound system. I have 11 paradigm speakers with an Onkyo amp to fit into a 120 square foot room ( yea its gonna be awesome) rather than my old 400 square foot Theater room. in the old house i had the wires going under the floor in the crawl space area, but now in the new house, i cant do that and i have no place to hide the cables. I recently bought a Panasonic Surround system for the master bedroom (should have seen the wifes expression when i did that, still married though) and the back two speakers plug into a wireless receiver and there is a little wireless thing that plugs into the back of the box (by box i mean its like a 5 disc CD/DVD/iPod/Radio/amplifier thing) and its wireless surround sound. This all came with the Panasonic system. Is there a device out there that can hook up to my Onkyo/Paradigm surround system with so that i have wireless surround sound.
