The Grey – movie review
It's intense, it's a thriller, it's elegant, and it makes Bear Grylls look like amateur hour. Do yourself a favour and catch this one at the cinema. A big screen and surround sound makes this movie pop but it's I'd happy to sit through again on DVD.

i want to know the lyrics to Afro celt sound system’s Release including the words sung by the male vocalist

Question by the council of golden retrievers: i want to know the lyrics to Afro celt sound system’s Release including the words sung by the male vocalist

Best answer:

Answer by Brendon
The male vocalist on “Release” was Iarla O’Lionaird, who is one of the two primary male vocalists for almost all of Afro Celt Sound System’s songs. The English lyrics (which I’m listing below) were sung by Sinead O’Connor, and the Malinke (African) parts were sung by N’Faly Kouyate, the other primary male vocalist for the band. Iarla’s parts were sung in Irish Gaelic, and those lyrics for some reason are not listed on afrocelts.org’s lyrics page. (Afrocelts.org is run by a fan but is arguably the best Afro Celts website, currently.) The song was written after the tragic, premature death of band member Jo Bruce, as a way of the band honoring him, and moving on without him. Here is the English part of the song “Release”, as sung by Sinead O’Connor:

Don’t think you can’t see me

Don’t argue amongst yourselves
Because of the loss of me
I’m sitting amongst yourselves
Don’t think you can’t see me

Don’t argue amongst yourselves
Because of the loss of me
I haven’t gone anywhere
But out of my body

Reach out and you’ll touch me
Make effort to speak to me
Call out and you’ll hear me
Be happy for me

Don’t argue amongst yourselves
Because of the loss of me
I haven’t gone anywhere
But out of my body

Reach out and you’ll touch me
Make effort to speak to me
Call out and you’ll hear me
Be happy for me

Reach out and you’ll touch me
Make effort to speak to me
Call out and you’ll hear me
Be happy for me

AirPlay/Bluetooth, iMacs, and Surround Sound Systems?

Question by : AirPlay/Bluetooth, iMacs, and Surround Sound Systems?
My roommate and I both have 2011 model iMacs and want to purchase a home theatre system for our new apartment. Ideally, we would like to be able to play music from either one of our computers over the audio system. We also would have it hooked up to our HDTV/DVR, and an Xbox 360.

Logistically, what is the best way to sync the iMacs to the receiver? I have seen some receivers that have built-in AirPlay capability, but those are expensive at the moment. Is there a way to turn the surround sound system into a bluetooth device which our iMacs would recognize? I’m not worried about price ranges at the moment, just interested in figuring out all of our configuration options.

Answer by Home Theater Medics
One option that may be reasonable would be to buy an airport express. The airport express allows you to stream music from multiple computers to a stereo wirelessly. The downside to the airport express… you can only stream music from iTunes.

Your opinion on people who put high $ sound systems in Jeep Wranglers?

Question by Casual Catastrophe: Your opinion on people who put high $ sound systems in Jeep Wranglers?
I’ve gotten some heat from hardcore Jeepers for putting a good sound system in my Wrangler and I’m just wondering why that is. I am the kind of person who really likes my music and I do a lot of highway driving which gets really noisy with a soft top or if the top is completely down. That’s why I decided to put a high quality marine rated sound system in the vehicle. It’s all Polk Audio, 5 1/4″ components in the dash, 6 3/4″ components in the sound bar and 2 8″ subs in the back. Run by 2 Polk Audio amps.. the retail value of the whole affair is near $ 2,000 (but thanks to ebay I paid maybe half that..) It sounds incredible and can easily over power wind noise on the highway.. and let’s face it.. driving into the sunset with the top down and doors off with some Tom Petty at max volume is just pretty cool anyways!

I guess maybe some “manly beer guzzling 4×4 enthusiasts” just look at me as a little 20 year old punk? I don’t know.. I mean it’s not like that’s all I’ve done to the Jeep.. it’s got about a grand in off road accessories already and today I just dropped another $ 2,400 on a 4″ lift and new wheels and 33×10.5″ tires.. it’s definitely an off road Jeep too not just a daily commuter.. it’s seen more than a few days where cleaning the mud off is a 4 hour job.

So what’s your opinion? Should Wranglers be strictly off road or can they be rolling boom boxes so you can have fun on the drive to the trail too?
