Question by misschopstickz: How do i connect my stereo to my television to get stereo sound?
i have a small set in my room and the only jacks it has is in the front here is what they look like {video(yellow hole)in audio(white hole)} then the back of myb stereo, which is a kenwood rxd-f4 has a white aux input and a red aux input hole. i hope this helps and is not confusing. i somply want the sound from the tele to come out of the stereo. i dont have a vcr or ps or xbox anything just those two electronics.

red and white on the TV to red and white input on stereo then switch your stereo into aux.

Hi, I have 98 chysler sebring lxi and having problems with my car sound system. The stock car stereo died so I installed a new car stereo and the car sound system was working fine till a friend crashed my car.After the crash I installed a new car stereo (same brand as before and with same wiring just to be sure everything was same) but I am not getting any sound. I am sure the car stereo is hooked up properly cause I have done it before and it was working before. The car stereo powers up correctly, the ground is connected properly and the fuses are okay too. I thought the speakers blew but I doubt all four speakers have blown. I am guessing something is wrong with stock infinity amp. Could that be the problem? If yes, does anybody know how I can replace the amp. Also, Any other ideas on what could be wrong will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

check if the amp is getting warm/hot at all when your system is on if not it might not be plugged it or fried

the only thing i have is the 4 speakers and thats it..
i also want to get subwoofers but what else besides subwoofers do i need?

also i dont really want to spend much so the cheaper the better :)

I have a 09 Honda Civic and I am trying to get the best sound out of it.
It is nearly impossible to change out the head unit without spending upwards of $ 700.
I installed a sub to the car so the bass sounds great.
The only problem is when the volume gets around 30 and above (the max is 40) the treble doesn’t get any louder but the bass still goes up.
If I were to get new speakers would the sound get any louder or is the head unit keeping the sound down?

Any information is appreciated.

New speakers would make it sound better and the higher the watt the louder the sound will get. so get a good brand with high watts this should solve your problem for much less than $ 700

I have a wicked sound system I need installed into my Holden VY ute am looking for a company who do installations rather that some one who has “a mate who did a wicked job” on some one Else’s audio setup. I have a 2002 Mercury Sable LS Premium with a rather weak stereo system in it. I would like to make it sound better without making much modification to the vehicle. I really dont want to put a head unit in to the car because that would be a major change to the dash as the stereo is part of the heat and other controls on the dash.

So is there anything I can do? I dont need anything really crazy just something that sounds decent.

I know there are a lot of home stereo systems in the market today and you get a paradox of choice when choosing between all of these home stereo systems. So I was hoping that some of you experts could help me find home stereo systems that is a good buy.
My only requirement for the home stereo systems is that it consists of min 4 speakers as I want somekind of surround sound.
So what home stereo systems would you expert suggest?

I’m no expert, but I have lots of opinions about that. I would suggest you find a decent used Yamaha RX-V663 receiver. It’s a basic hi-def receiver w/ 2 HDMI inputs for high resolution video. It can also decode the hi-def discrete audio from a Blu-ray disc. Then look for a Definitive Technology 5.1 speaker system. One of my fav web sites to find used gear is Audiogon.com. Lots of people have put up their older audio processors for sale there because of the latest upgrades in hi-def surround. And I mean it’s good stuff too. What sold for thousands a few yrs ago is now for sale at 1/10 the price. Most of what’s sold there is top shelf quality from lots of makers you never heard of. Good luck.

It just shut off one day when i was listning to music and now it just turns on and shuts off.

it is overheating or has overheated, or is just effed. have it serviced. oh that’s right, nothing gets serviced anymore in this throw away world we live in.

buy a new one.

Stereo Systems?

I have a boat and currently there is a receiver( similar to a car receiver) connected to 4 speakers. the receiver is connected to a rectangle could just be how recievers are done or it could be an amplifier I have no idea. The first two speakers are within 5 feet of the receiver and the other two speakers are at the back of the boat approximately 15-20 feet away. The speakers in the front are loud and clear while the speakers in the back are less loud and less clear. How can I either make the sound equal amongst the speakers or more powerful in the rear speakers?
