Question by : How do I integrate and install wireless speakers onto a patio to use with my existing home surround sound?
The patio is 25 yards away from the house, and I have a small wifi connection from that location when I tested it. The download strength from speedtest.net was .46mbps. The current system is a Denon AVR-3803. What is the best way to add the wireless speakers, and can I control the whole sound system with an ipad? Thanks

First you would find a wireless speaker system that had that distance rating, which wont be too tough considering they are usually atleasts 150 foot range, for your pad to be used as a remote control you will need to download a remote control application from the app store. 2 that I found pretty cool are “I got control” app which is free , you will need to get an ir blaster that connects to your ipad for around 50 bucks( available at radio shack store or online, the other option is the “dijit” app which is also a free application, you will also need the adapter that hooks to your ipad, and for this app it is around 70 bucks, but it looks very cool and promises to be able to control almost any remote controlled device, I suggest downloading them both considering they are free and pick the one you like best before spending the money on any of the hardware that is required, unfortunately there is no way around getting additional hardware to make your ipad to work as a remote mainly because it does not send or receive infra red signal
