TV connection to Wireless Surround sound system?

Question by GeeCee: TV connection to Wireless Surround sound system?
I have my TV and SS connected and can only hear a buzzing noise from the speakers. To the best of my knowledge I have it connected right. I have only 2 connections to put in, one red and one white. It is a Samsung HD TV. Can you help ?I have been on YouTube but got nowhere. Thanks
@Bang I have done this and my speakers are buzzing, when I tap end of red and white connectors with finger it sounds like microphone but when I insert I get a buzz only????
@ silverbullet I have one red and one white inputs at the back of TV, and 2 red and 2 whites on the SS system, I have tried both and nothing???

User manuals have limited info, am using antenna signal. The SS has some signal coming through as it is hissing/crackling but thats all.

Connect optical cable or red & white cables from cable box or TV to sound system for TV channel audio.

I have a Samsung TV and I want to buy Samsung’s wireless system to match.

How clear is the sound given that it’s wireless? Do you experience alot of trouble with wireless? Is there a brand I should go with other than Samsung?

Remember, even the ‘wireless’ speakers you can buy still need to be plugged into a power source!!!

That SIX speakers all plugged in somewhere (cables everywhere!)

Also be prepared for very poor sound quality compared to mid priced Hi-Fi speakers!

I definitely recommend listening to ANY speaker before you buy!

Just maybe you can put up with them for your surround\rear channels, but definitely NOT the front 3 + sub woofer! Just NO!
Lol

It’s really not that hard to discreetly lay some speaker cable.
