I plan on purchasing a basic vizio blu ray and I’m an avid gamer/movie enthusiast so I find myself unable to decide whether I should go with a better quality sound system or a surround sound system that will possibly immerse me considering the possibilities of the two extra speakers.
please help x)
i already have a 42″ vizio lcd

i cant afford anything over $ 300

Those home theater in a box are not very good or dependable at all. The tv is also a bargain price tv that is not dependable. You might notice video and audio lag time. Vizio brand is sold only at bargain price department store like Wal Mart, Target, Sam’s Club and Costco. If you read yahoo question you will notice that 95% of tv problems comes from bargain price tvs along with those home theater in a box. They are also not very flexible in adding anything to them and you can not upgrade later on. Keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Hope this will help you out.
