Question by : can i connect a tv, surround sound, and xbox wireless to the internet with 2 wireless routers?
I have a wireless router connected to a PC and a network printer, 2 wireless laptops. What I want to do is connect a TV, Surroundsound system, XBOX 360, and a Satellite reciever to my network. The Sat rec cannot be connected without a cat6. Can I hook up a second wireless router to communicate with the first and connect the components to the internet like that?

its called a wireless access point, two routers will not work as they will both be tryingto assign IPs to your devices and will not communicate with each other however a wireless access point will do just fine.

Q&A: Any advice on rear wireless surround sound systems?

Question by J: Any advice on rear wireless surround sound systems?
I am looking to buy a surround sound system for my TV and would like wireless rear speakers. I am concerned that it not interfere with my existing wireless computer network. And I would also like to spend under $ 500. Any advice or recommendations?

I would recommend getting a rock-fish wireless speaker system and then speakers of your choice the Rockfish system comes without speakers and produces 25 watts a channel this should be enough power for efficient speakers like Klipsch, but the actual speakers you choose should be a close match tonally to whatever your using up front, Rockfish also makes speakers but this system will allow you to use speakers of your choice that may match the other speakers in your system more closely…You could add this to the Onkyo HT S3300 Home theater system or any system of your choice.
