You will need to download a sound recording program like NCH Recording Pad (which is free!) set it up to record from speakers and it should work.

To record audio from your computer, not microphone, you should configure your audio device driver correctly. If you’re using Windows7, do the following steps (on other OS, do similar steps):
1. Right click the Volume icon in the system tray (bottom right corner of your screen), then select Recording Devices. The Recording tab in Sound window will be displayed.
2. If Stereo Mix device is already displayed in Recording tab, jump to step 4. If it isn’t there, do next step.
3. Right click on the recording tab content, select Show Disabled Devices, Stereo Mix device should be displayed in the recording devices list.
4. If Stereo Mix device is disabled, right click it then select Enable.
5. If Stereo Mix device isn’t the default one, right click it then select Set As Default Device.

If you still can’t record the sound, try another screen recording software. I recommend ActivePresenter, you can download it at http://atomisystems.com/ Its Free Edition allows you to record your screen with audio narration (from your computer speaker or microphone), balloon annotation, edit if you want, then export to video (AVI, MP4, WMV or WebM format) without watermark/logo.

If you talking about recording just what is coming out of your speakers, you can do that by downloading this application called soundflower. This allows you to set the computer to, hear itself. Just make sure you set the audio input and output to the same value. This way you just use any audio recording software and record sound that way.
