Question by CAS: Does anyone know of any good sound systems for cars?
I would like to know of any good sound systems for cars. I really don’t know anything about sound systems but i just want to get a really good sound system for my car and one that is at a reasonable price. I plan on spending maybe 300-400 on it

It depends on what kinda system you want. If you want a full system with door speakers, subs,head unit, and amps. Sorry but your outta luck if you wanna build a full system, you will easily spend 100-150 bucks on just wire, interconnect, fuse blocks, distribution blocks, and connectors.. There is 1 option i guess for finding a full system is craigslist.com but you will still need to get the wire. Here is an idea of how much stuff will cost. For an ok head unit like Pioneer, JVC, or Kenwood look to spend 100-150 bucks or better ones can go for 300+ bucks. Cheaper amps that have some quality like Hifonics that will go from anywhere between 100-300 bucks each, while the better amps will start off at 300 bucks. Subwoofer you will probably want to spend about 200 bucks each for a decent sub however Hifonics makes a couple subs for around 100 bucks not sure how good their subs are though but their amps are decent. Now for door speaker or mid and high range speakers will cost you min. 50 bucks a set and again those are just average speakers for 50 bucks. Save up some more money between 700-750 bucks and you can get yourself a half decent system, and for about 1000 bucks you can have a good system. check out these sources list below.
