How to lay wires for sound system speakers?

Question by Norah B: How to lay wires for sound system speakers?
Just got a new TV/ sound system with 4 speakers, and the men who set it up said they wouldn’t say where to put the speakers until I had time to try different positions. So there is all this fine silver wire lying around the join between the walls and floor. What’s the best way to lay them down now I’ve decided where the speakers should go? U-tacks? or plain pins?

i cant stand wires laying around. i drilled a hole behind my tv…and ran the wires under the house and up by my couch on the stands that i got for them. i did the same things for the 7.1 speakers (mounted them on wall) and ran them down the wall…under the house, and back to the tv. it’s much cleaner. the two beside my stand just run under it…and the center one under the tv. here are a few pics.
