Question by Brian: Where can I download the system sound files for Windows XP?
I recorded new sounds to replace my log in and out sounds, the sounds for error messages, etc., and now I want to change them back, but cannot find where (or remember if) I backed them up at. I also am having trouble finding replacement downloads with google. Does anyone know where I can download these sounds?
I am aware that the sounds are in the media folder. Those ones are the ones I saved over. I’m looking for somewhere to download the originals to put in THAT folder

Try using system restore on start>control panel> system restore.
