I’m looking for software that allows live control over multiple video sources / computer video files and does for video what sound cue system does for sound.
Not intrested in video editing software as such, but rather software that will allow you to playback or mix existing videos in real time, like you would find at a gig or in a west end theatre. There must be a better alternative to powerpoint…

Two that I would consider professional are Adobe Premier and Sony Vegas. Though I’m not certain of all their features because I’ve only used each of those programs briefly. Both are very expensive though.
I’m not sure exactly what they use for major movies though. Perhaps one of these programs?
