Question by : Just starting band , What do we need as far as equipment to play where no pa system exist ? approx 1500 people?
We want to be able to play an auditorium or an outside event ! We are a southern rock band in need of superior sound ! Any suggestions on what PA equipment to purchase for maximum performance ? We are a 5 peice band with an occasional 6th person .

If you can afford it
go with JBL Speakers, Crown Power, and Allen and Heath or Yamaha mixers
for a lower price, an all Yamaha system is good too
stay AWAY from Behringer
it’s junk
(it used to be good years ago, when it was made in Germany, now it’s Chinese)
