There’s a boy runs around my neighborhood w/moped don’t know what he has but its loud for sure ill check it out next time i see him and get back with ya on it

Question by Maz A.: How can i hook a sound system to my moped/Scooters 12v bat ?
Please don’t ask why, jus say how.
I have the following:
Boschmann RV-6200XT (Search for details – basically speakers and crossover)
And i have a lot of wires, probably all il need
And i have a portable dvd player, i want to act it as a head unit would be in a car.

and thats all i have.

Please help.. ive seen many but not with a portable dvd player.

You will need an enclosure to mount the head unit in, and some other enclosures for the speakers. You also need an amplifier to drive the speakers, This will use a lot of power, probably more than your moped generator can provide, so you will need a larger battery and alternator and engine to drive it. The enclosures also need to be waterproof if they are not to get ruined in the rain.

Ideally the head unit is enclosed in a ‘dash’ and the speakers enclosed in ‘doors’ and the amplifier is in the ‘boot’ and there are 2 extra wheels to carry the extra weight and a roof to keep the rain out.

I have a moped, and I want to get some sort of sound system on it, nothing cheap though. Where can I get one? And are there any brands that are better than others?

You should mount a subwoofer on your rear fender.
