Kinetic Surround Sound System

Can I get in trouble for purchasing, what I believe to be stolen, items? I bought a Kinetic sound system?

I bought a Kinetic sound system from 2 guys driving a truck wearing shirts that said some sort of company name that I cannot remember. They had 2 projector screens, 2 projectors, and this surround sound system. Now can I get in trouble if these items are stolen?

I’m actually considering just turning this into the police and letting them handle it. Does that sound like a good idea?

You can only get in trouble if you knew the stuff was stolen. I wouldn’t do anything unless something comes up.
