with the rca (red & white) cables. u wont get surround though.
just front. if there is an adapter for that kind of thing, it might be at radioshack or an electronics store.

Hi, I’m wanting to make a karaoke system that doesn’t sound horrible like the karaoke machines at Wal-Mart. Does anyone know a receiver that has like a “mic in” place to plug the microphone into. I have the microphone and the speakers. Just need a good receiver that will let mics be plugged into it and a cdplayer to plug into the receiver too. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

People often look for a receiver with a mic in but I have never seen one in many years of selling audio / video. What I suggest is to buy a DVD player that has microphone inputs and karaoke capabilities (see link for one from RJ Tech — $ 99). This will play karaoke DVD’s and CD’s. You can hook it up to any receiver and speakers and have karaoke.
