How can I file a Police Report For an Online Scammer?

Question by : How can I file a Police Report For an Online Scammer?
I am getting married next month and everything has been going smoothly, no major issues. Then just today I found out that my DJ and Videographer are a SCAMMER Company, if even a real company. I know you take a risk when dealing with online businesses but I thought they were Legit. They had phone numbers that were local in the city I will be marrying in(we are in another state right now), and their website was very professional looking, and their brochure came with a dvd that all seemed legit.
I lost my deposit of $ 500 to these scammers and am Not going to give them more money of course, but they are due to call me back for more money to complete my payment to them.
Here’s their info: A Sensory Sound System.

None of the websites work anymore. HOW can I file a report about these scammers? This was very disappointing but we are working to find Legit people now! Please help!!

hey thats a standard system…..although thats a way of traditional djing and u have to buy vinyls for them and spend a lot off money on limited titles so …… i suppose u could get :

1-pc or laptop
2-programs like virtual dj
3-virtual vinyls
4-a standard asio sound card

so with that u can be tradigital dj and no need to buy more vinyls just good ol mp3s . and kikachika dude scratch up ,loop up,and do whatever u want.

if u had any questions – add ur e-mail so i can contact u.

later.

Question by Baby Boy: I want to become Party DJ, in my area, can someone tell me the complete equipment I need for this challange?
I want to be able to play DJ at local parties and performances, But I do not know much about mixers and amplifiers. I want someone to tell me what equipment is necessary to setup a simple but very efficient sound system that can keep my audience dancing all night.long. Thank you.

Not nearly enough information, but I’ll give it a shot.

Basically, you need speakers, amplifier, mixers, players, and microphones.

What types depends on what you are doing. Shure is typically the best microphone, but that doesn’t really matter if you aren’t singing.

I prefer pioneer players and use the CDJ-400s. They are good and compact, and they take thumb drives.

For mixers, I suggest you stick with the brand of players that you use. CDJ-400 is pioneer so a pioneer mixer is best. I also try to have an auxiliary input for emergencies.

I like powered speakers. That means the amplifier is part of the speaker. I go with the Bose L1s. They are expensive and don’t have that really low end bass. If you aren’t using a powered speaker, then pick a speaker and make sure your amp works with it. Pay attention to amps, watts, load, and connection type. If you don’t know, then ask a salesman.

Lastly, the sound system won’t keep people dancing. You’ll have to do that yourself.
