Is it bad to have Audio equipment on an outlet that has the hot/neutral reversed?

I was re-wiring the sound booth @ my church, and noticed that all the Sound equipment plugs into a raceway that has the hot/neural reversed (according to my tester).

CAN this cause damage to our equipment, OR can it cause odd things to go on (such as system noise, and other abnormalities)?

No. Just reverse all the wirings so that you will not get confused.

Could someone tell me what do i need for a good church audio system? i mean what equipment and stuff should i buy.
My church is pretty small but i want a VERY good sound. Thanks :)
Well… i meant do i need mixers, amps, speakers, things like that?

First you need some very soundproof walls to prevent the sounds and information of reality seeping into your sanctuary.
