Question by Leon L: What’s a good cheap 5.1 surround sound system?
I’m looking for a good 5.1 surround sound unit to go along with my xbox 360 and hdtv? I want to spend in the range of $ 100. What do you recommend?

I would look for a Klipsch computer surround sound. It has THX capabilities and will make you gaming sound great, as well as movies you may want to play through it.

I want my cable TV sound and the PS3 games and movies sound to go through some surround sound speakers.
I really just want 2 speakers in back of me.
5.1 would be good too.
The LCD and PS3 have an Optical connection, they have RCA too.
I see cheap theater systems but they come with a DVD player. I want to use my PS3 not the DVD player that is included in the system. Plus I dont want a big DVD player that will not be used on my shelf, their really is no room for it.
I would connect it to my TV’s Optical Out, right ? The PS3 goes through the TV, the TV does not go through the PS3, right ?
How do I connect 2 speakers OR 5 speakers and a subwoofer to my TV ?
Basically everything I see is like $ 150-$ 299-$ 599 that is way too much. I just want sound behind me, Iam not looking for studio quality sound.
Any 2 speakers or 5.1 that are powered and have Optical Inputs or that can accept RCA ?
