Question by Victor: What is the best home theater sound set up I can have using ,000?
I have $ 6,000 to spend on a home theater speaker system. This including a 5.1 surround sound speaker system, cables, receivers, etc. I want to best system possible for my home theater at this price.
No. None of that stuff. I’m getting a 60″ Pioneer Elite Kuro Plasma Television. That is not included in the price. The 6000 is solely to do with anything related to the sound. Speakers, audio cables, receivers….etc

something high quality, but not too expensive.
like 1 bass box, a component mixer with multiple red and white AUX plugins. and (3 or 4) speakers.
something good for a college dorm room.

Well any home theater in a box from any major retailer will do when you want something on the cheap. But as far as it being the best, HA! It will be in the trash inside of 6 months guaranteed. Those things are awful sounding and hardly worth the effort. I would suggest you buy a used receiver on eBay and a decent 5.1 speaker system. It too does not have to be expensive, but it will sound better than a HTiB (home theater in a box). And last longer too.
