Hello!

I am looking at purchasing my neighbor’s buddy’s quad. This quad had been lent to me for about a week to help at as my legs, since mine were injured in a severe accident. On occasion, I have to put the battery charger on it to start it.

My questions:
a) Typically, are ATVs/Quads generally not equipped with electrical charging systems?
b) If ATVs/Quads are not equipped with a charging system, how long should a “charge” on a “sound” battery last before it has to be recharged?

YES atvs have charging systems…..BUT the batteries ONLY last about 2-3 years on average…..sounds like it needs a new battery

BMW, Toyota, Nissan, and a few other European brands can tune the exhaust system of an inline 6 engine to sound tough and very pleasurable on the ears. Is it possible to make an American engine sound so good? Like a Ford 300, Chrysler 225, or an AMC 4.0? I love the inline six engine design but need that engine in a truck for hauling my sleds and atv. I think it would be cool to have the torque and economy of the 6 over a v8 and have it sound nice.
