Question by Panther: How to place the 2.1 sound system in a room?
Hi,I want to buy a 2.1 sound system for my notebook,but I can’t decide where to put the subwoofer in the room?Well satellites will be on both sides of a comp,but what about subwoofer? Shall I place it in the far corner of the room or in the center? Any precious advice of you will be appreciated.

Hi mate, The satellite’s should obviously go left and right respectively. As for the Subwoofer it can be placed anywhere in the room and the same effect will be created. This is because low bass frequencies are not directional and so your ears will not perceive where they are coming from in a stereo field. Its a matter of Acoustics.
